Undoing is a photographic triptych consisting of three silver gelatin prints produced in the black and white darkroom. The three parts are taken from the same 35mm negative where physical incisions with a scalpel in the gelatin-based material create traces that light in an enlarger can cut through. The artwork serves as an elevation of the damaged negative, where the once-worthless photograph expands the boundaries of what photography can be whilst simultaneously referencing aesthetics within grafitti, painting and calligraphy.
